INTRODUCTION

Feature Summary: System users can create and manage courts and resources (e.g., ball machines) within the CourtReserve platform.

Use Cases: Easily configure essential settings, including court and resource types, as well as the specific courts and resources available at your facility.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Go to the side menu and click SETTINGS. A new page displays.

  3. Go to the COURT & RESOURCE SETTINGS heading.

  4. Click an icon to open a section (see below).

In CourtReserve, the high-level term "Resources" can be renamed to better suit your needs. For example, if your only resource is Ball Machines, you can rename "Resources" to "Ball Machines." This setting can be found under ORGANIZATION SETTINGS > General.

CourtReserve organizes courts and resources by 'type.' When a club adds a new facility, a system user must first create the corresponding type. For example, if a club already has two court types β€” Hard and Indoor β€” and they add a new facility, such as a Clay Court, the system user must first create a 'Clay' type before adding the new court to the platform.

Setting Icons

  • Courts - Create a new court that displays on the member portal.

  • Court Types - Create Court Type category tags to organize court information on the platform.

  • Custom Schedulers - Create a custom scheduler to organize a subset of courts (e.g. different schedulers for indoor and outdoor courts) or run different operating schedules.

  • Closure Types - Create Closure Type category tags for court closures (e.g. repairs, maintenance, holidays).

  • Resource Categories - Create Resource category tags for machines and other bookable equipment.

  • Closures - System users can close courts in response to changing conditions.

  • Manage Resources - Add equipment to the platform and track resource use.

  • Court Waitlisting - Use this tool to keep the courts busy in case a member cancels a booking.
