How Players Can Edit or Update Their Reservations

Whether you let your players update/edit their reservations is entirely based on the settings you have configured under Booking Settings.

INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: These settings give system users the flexibility to determine whether members can edit their reservations after booking. Additionally, administrators can specify which aspects of the reservation can be modified, providing tailored control over the booking process.

  • Use Cases: For example, an organization may decide that while members cannot change the specific court assigned to their reservation once booked, they are allowed to add or remove players. This setup is particularly useful for managing high-demand facilities and ensuring fair access while accommodating changes in member availability.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Go to Settings on the sidebar.

  2. Under the Booking Settings row, click the General page.

On the General page, there is a set of settings regarding member's permission to edit reservations. Allow Reservation Edit can be enabled if members should be able to edit all fields under a reservations, or specific fields (like Reservation Type, Date, etc.) can be enabled.

Don't allow reservation edit if less than X hours till Reservation Start is a great setting to prevent potential last-minute edits to a member's reservation.

For a member to update their reservation, they can go to the Reservations on the header, and click My Reservations.

Once a member clicks Edit Reservation, they will be brought to the Reservation Details page where they can edit parameters on their reservation.
