INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Change the features that display on the member portal.
Use Cases: System users can enable or disable member access to platform features, such as events, waitlists, and leagues.
PREREQUISITES
Know how to create a member portal page with rows.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Click SETTINGS > PORTAL SETTINGS on the side menu.
Click the Website icon. A new page displays.
On the next page, click the Navigation tab.
The left side of the page shows 10+ settings (e.g. Hide Event List, Hide Events Calendar, etc.). Each setting is unchecked for all membership types by default (i.e. each feature is visible on the member portal by default).
System users can check a box to hide a feature for all members or check a box to disable the feature at the membership type level.
Feature notes
Event Alerts - If not checked, members get alerts when a system user creates a new event or event type.
Hide My Account Family Members Link - If not checked, players with a Family membership type can add new members to their own Family account via the member portal.
Hide My Account Membership Link - If not checked, players can change their membership type or cancel their membership on the member portal.
Hide Transaction Link - If the organization does not use payments or payment integration in CourtReserve, system users can check these boxes to hide these features.
Changing the book court menu link
At the bottom of the Navigation page, system users can customize the Book Court text that appears in the navigation. The default text is Book a Court. Enter new text to change the default.
FEATURE USAGE - USERS' PERSPECTIVE
On the member portal, a player clicks the account name. The drop-down menu displays platform features like My Family and Billing. Some features are on the Events drop-down (e.g. My Events).
