Posting Recurring Fees

This article shows you how to set up and post recurring fees.

OVERVIEW

With Post Recurring Fees you can now assign scheduled recurring fees onto members’ accounts - no need to post fees manually each month/quarter/year. You can choose whether these fees will be on the family or individual level, as well as if these fees are ongoing or will have an end date.

Use Cases - Post Recurring Fees is ideal for ‘add-on’ style fees. You could use Recurring Fees for things like locker fees, monthly ball machine fees, or to post semi-annual/annual club maintenance fees.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

To turn on Recurring Fees, simply go to Settings > Billing Settings > Recurring Fees. There is no switch you need to turn on - just create your Recurring Fee and SAVE. Once you have at least 1 recurring fee type created, the tab for Post Recurring Fees will appear under Transactions.

You will create all of your Recurring Fees under Settings > Billing Settings > Recurring Fees and then post them under Transactions > Post Recurring Fees.

HOW IT WORKS FOR COURTRESERVE ADMINS

Mass Post Recurring Fees

To Post Recurring Fees, simply go to Transactions > Post Recurring Fees. Once there you can select the type of Recurring Fee you would like to assign. If you would like to see previous Post Fees you can press the orange ‘View Posted Fees From Past 30 Days’ button in the top right hand corner.

Individually Post/Manage Recurring Fees

To assign/manage recurring fees on a member’s account, go to their account and click Billing > Recurring Fee Schedule. Under Recurring Fee Schedule, you can Add a Recurring Fee, View Fees, Suspend fees, and Cancel a fee right from the member’s account. You can also use the Past tab to see any prior Recurring Fees for this member.

RELATED REPORTS

To report on Recurring Fees, you can go to Transactions > Transaction List and use the new Recurring Fees filter. Here you'll see the breakdown based on Recurring Fee type as well as
