INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Change an Individual membership to a Family membership.
Use Cases: System users open the member's Family tab when they need to assign an individual to an existing family membership.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Open a member profile (MEMBERS > SEARCH) and click the Family tab.
If the member is not already part of a family, you will need to add them to an existing family or create a new family.
To add a member to an existing family, click the Family field and select an existing family account. If a Family you'd like to link to doesn't exist, skip to the next section.
Click the Family Role field, select an option, and then click Save Changes.
Create a New Family
If a family name search does not produce a result, system users can create a new family account. Click the green button to create a family.
A new form displays. Fill in the fields to create a family.
Next, you can assign a Family Membership here and Save Changes.
Update the Membership Plan
After adding an individual to a family, go to the Membership tab.
Important: If the member has an existing Individual Membership, it must be canceled. Individual memberships remain active on the player’s account and will override any Family Membership. To ensure the player follows the same restrictions as the rest of the family, the individual membership must be manually canceled.
Click the Individual Membership tab.
Select Cancel Membership, then complete the cancellation process.
Next, open the Family Membership tab and assign the appropriate family plan.
