INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Open the Point of Sale (POS) page.

  • Use Cases: System users can display product information, sell items, and process customer payments at checkout.

PREREQUISITES

The POS add-on is enabled and set up with items.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

Go to the side menu and click POINT OF SALE > LAUNCH POS. The POS page displays the following:

  • Categories on the left

  • Items in the center (plus a search bar)

  • Shopping cart and UPC search field on the right

If an item does not have an image, the POS page displays the product's Short Name with the default dark blue background and white text. System users can customize these colors.

Click the Back to Dashboard link to go back to the admin page.

Selecting products

Click an image (or product card) to open a popup that displays a description of the item. To buy a product, select a quantity and click Add to Cart. If the product has variants, click the field to display a drop-down and select a variant option.

Reviewing the cart

Confirm the information in the cart. Click Checkout to open the payment processing page.

Processing a payment

The next page shows the products, tax (if applicable), and the total amount owed.

  1. Click the Member field and enter three letters to search for a name. After selecting a name, the page displays the member's current club balance. It is not required to link POS sales to a member's account.

  2. Select a payment method.

  3. Click Process Sale and then Yes in the confirmation popup.

  4. Click OK in the Success popup window. The POS page displays.

FEATURE USAGE - USERS' PERSPECTIVE

Members can see POS transactions on the member portal. The member should click their account name and select Billing > Transactions.

On the next page, click the Transaction Details tab and then click the ALL tab. CourtReserve displays the transaction, including the date, amount, and category (i.e. Point of Sale) type.
