Create a Category Sales Report

INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Create a table that shows item category sales for a period.

  • Use Cases: System users can use filters to identify sales at the category level. Generate data for just about any time period, from daily to annual sales.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

Go to the side menu and click POINT OF SALE > REPORTS > CATEGORY SALES. On the next page, set the report filters.

  1. Manually set the start and end dates or click the field to select a pre-built period (e.g. Current Month).

  2. Use the default ALL setting for Item Categories or click the field and select one or more specific categories for this report (e.g. Pickleball Gear).

CourtReserve auto-generates the table, which shows the number of items sold by category plus gross sales and profit for the period. Click the Export button to download the table data in an .xlsx file.
