INTRODUCTION

PREREQUISITES

Know how to create a member portal page with rows.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Click SETTINGS > PORTAL SETTINGS on the side menu.

  3. Click the Website icon. A new page displays.

On the next page, click the Menu tab. Click the Create Header Link button.

Creating a drop-down menu

In this scenario, the system user creates a header link with a drop-down menu. The drop-down menu has links to custom pages created by the system user.

On the popup window, enter the name of the head link. Leave the Link URL field blank. The default setting for Display Type is All website visitors. To change the default, click the click and select Anonymous Users Only (visitors who are not logged in) or Logged In Users Only.

CourtReserve adds the header link to the table. The table row has a plus (+) icon and a yellow button.

Click the Page Builder tab. Locate a custom page and click the Copy URL button.

Click the Menu tab. Go to the new header link and click the Create Sub-Link button. In the popup window, enter text into the Link Display Text field. Paste in the custom page URL. Comfrm or change the Display Type default setting. Click Save. Repeat teh steps to add more links to the drop-down menu.

On the member portal, CourtReserve adds the header link and drop-down menu with page links.

Creating a single header link

In this scenario, the system user creates a new menu item with one link that opens a custom page.

On the popup window, enter the name of the head link. Paste in the link for the custom page (Open the Page Builder tab and copy the page URL). Confirm or change the Display Type default setting. Click Save.

On the member portal, CourtReserve adds the header link to the menu.

Changing the menu order

Systems users can customize how header links display. Select the Menu tab and then click the Sort Menu button.

On the next page, drag and drop links to change the menu order. Click Save Changes.
