NAVIGATION
Log in to the admin panel.
Navigate to Settings > Portal Settings in the side menu.
Click the Website icon. A new page displays.
Click the Menu tab.
Click the Create Header Link button.
Creating a Drop-Down Menu
In this scenario, a system user creates a header link that contains a drop-down menu. The drop-down menu links to event filters created by the system user.
In the popup window, enter a name in the Link Display Text field.
Leave the Link URL field blank.
The default setting for Display Type is All website visitors. To change it, click the drop-down and select Anonymous Users Only (visitors who are not logged in) or Logged In Users Only.
Click Save.
CourtReserve adds the heading to the member portal menu. Because the Link URL field was left blank, the heading will not be clickable — add sub-links to populate the drop-down.
CourtReserve adds the header link to the menu table. The table row displays a plus (+) icon.
Gathering Links for Sub-Links
Sub-link URLs can come from several sources:
An external website URL
A custom page built in the Page Builder tab — locate the page and click Copy URL
An event filter URL — go to the Event Filters tab, locate the filter, and click Copy URL
Note: In this example, the sub-link uses an event filter configured to display all Junior Camp events for the upcoming summer.
Add Sub-Link(s)
Click the Menu tab. Go to the new header link and click Create Sub-Link.
In the popup window, enter text in the Link Display Text field.
Paste the custom page URL into the Link URL field.
Confirm the Display Type setting.
Click Save.
Repeat the previous steps to add more sub-links to the drop-down menu.
CourtReserve adds the sub-links to the header link drop-down. Example shown here with two sub-links:
Creating a Single Link
In this scenario, a system user creates a header link that navigates directly to a URL.
In the popup window, enter a name in the Link Display Text field.
Enter the destination URL in the Link URL field.
The default setting for Display Type is All website visitors. To change it, click the drop-down and select Anonymous Users Only (visitors who are not logged in) or Logged In Users Only.
Click Save.
CourtReserve adds the link to the member portal menu.
Changing the Menu Order
System users can customize the order in which header links display on the member portal menu.
Click the Menu tab, then click Sort Menu.
On the next page, drag and drop links to reorder them.
Click Save Changes.
CourtReserve updates the menu order on the member portal.
