Adding users to your team is easy, and will allow everyone at your clinic to collaborate seamlessly on cases.

How to add a user

1. Access team settings

Go to Your Account then select Teams to open the team management page.

2. Start the invite process

Click New Member at the top right to open the invite form.

3. Select how to invite the team member

There are three options to invite a team member: Invite from other team, invite by email, or create invitation link.

  • Select Invite from other team (if they already belong to another team that you manage),

  • Invite by email: you can select their account subscription options.

  • Create invitation link to share a link through another platform: members joining via your invite link will pay for their own subscriptions. If you'd like to cover their costs instead, you can change payment settings later from the team page.

Accepting Invitations To a Team

Once you send the invite, there are a few steps on the invitee’s side.

  1. Create a CoVet account. Invitees must first create a CoVet account.

    1. Tip: In case the invitation was sent through email, the account should be created with the same email address the invite was sent to. If the emails don’t match, the invite won’t appear.

  2. Open the Teams section. In CoVet’s Teams tab, the pending invite will appear under the “Joined Teams” tab.

  3. Accept the invite. Accepting adds them to your team and updates their account type automatically.

Note: The steps are the same whether you are adding a free support account or a paid subscriber.

Regardless of account-type, team invitees need to create their account with the invited email address first, then accept the invite from the Teams tab.
