Encompass Calling is here to ensure your customers receive a great experience on the phone - no matter what. That's why we've included the Ad Hoc Closures tool to help you keep your customers informed of planned or unplanned closures.
This setting within Encompass Calling allows you to set a custom message during a specific period of time, letting your customers know your store is closed. Ad Hoc Closures are great to use for holidays, or in the event of an emergency where your store needs to be closed inside of your regular business hours.
Setting Up Ad Hoc Closures
To set an Ad Hoc Closure, visit the store page for the location you'd like to set up. You can do this by going to stores, then click the Eye icon next to the store you want to set a closure for.
Near the bottom of the store's page, you'll see several tabs. Click on the Ad Hoc Closures tab, enter the time frame you are closed, and set your message.
Click the Preview button to preview the message if you'd like to hear what it will sound like.
Click Save to save the Ad Hoc Closure.

We always think it's a good idea to give customers a head's up on upcoming adjusted store hours which is one of the reasons why each store has the ability to set their own custom greeting.
