For added flexibility, Encompass Calling allows you to customize some of the messages your customers receive when calling your store. Messages that can be customized are the following:
Greeting Message: Optional message for customers to hear before connecting to your store, after hearing preliminary messages and going through the menu. You can mention here a current promo or deal that's running, or something you want to highlight about this location specifically. Here are a few suggestions!
Note: This greeting message is played after the Universal Greeting. Be sure that your custom greeting compliments the Universal Greeting here:

On Hours Voicemail Message: Message customers will hear upon calling the store during open hours, but no one is able to answer the phone.

We’re assisting other customers at this time and are unable to take your call. If you would like to leave a message, please provide us with your name, phone number, and reason for calling. A team member will return your call as soon as possible. These messages can be updated at any time by the Franchise Admin.
How to edit Greeting and Voicemail Messages
To edit the Greeting and Voicemail Messages for a location, Franchise Admins can visit the stores page and click on the Eye icon next to the store they would like to set messages for.
Near the bottom of the page, you will see the Inbound Calling Settings tab. Click this tab to edit the messages.
Type your custom messages inside the provided boxes. You can click the Preview button to preview how the message will sound.
When you are finished adding your custom messages, click Save. Once saved, your new messages will be in effect for all callers.
