Enter estimates and description for cost lines.
Type the quantity.
Press Tab (not Enter) to advance the cursor to the next box.
Select a Unit of Measure from the drop-down list or type in any measurement descriptor and press Tab.
Type in a Craft Code and press Tab. You can use a pre-existing Craft Code or make up one of your own using a two character combination.
Type the Man-Hours per unit of measure. Press Tab.
Enter costs per unit of measure in the Labor, Material, Equipment and Total boxes. Press Tab to advance from box to box.
Click Save when complete.
Tips:
When copying a line form the costbook, the quantity may be the only entry needed.

in a shaded circle:Labor cost will be the product of hourly labor cost times the hours per unit.
The sum of material, labor and equipment costs will appear automatically in the Total box. If you don’t enter material, labor or equipment costs, you can enter any amount in the Total box.
Let the Calculator button figure quantities (such as square feet). Then click Use to insert the calculated sum into the quantity box.
