National Estimator Cloud (NEC) program code is revised from time to time. Updates on your computer should be automatic. However, we are aware of cases when the browser would not update code automatically – old code remains in the browser cache. Craftsman cannot fully control this as it depends on how your browser handles code updates. If some features seem to be missing or if NEC does not display correctly, we suggest clearing your browser's NEC cache. Follow these steps to force a re-load of NEC code – without disturbing the cache for other applications:

1. With National Estimator Cloud running in your browser.

2. In Chrome, click the three dots at the top-right of your screen.

3. Click More Tools

4. Click Developer Tools

5. The developer tools panel should open in the browser. You don’t have to do anything in the Developer Tools panel itself. It just needs to be present on the screen for the extra refresh options to appear.

6. With the Developer Tools displayed in the browser, click and hold the Refresh button (clockwise circular arrow) to the left of the address bar at the top of your screen.

7. Holding the mouse button down will open a drop-down menu with 3 options.

8. Choose “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This forces Chrome to load the most current version of NEC code.

9. Close the Developer Tools.
