What to do if a certificate name is incorrect

Our artificial intelligence automatically scans documents to identify what they are and when they expire. Sometimes, if a document contains multiple keywords, it can confuse our bot. The more documents it scans, the more accurate it becomes over time.

Once you uploaded a new document, click 'Review' to make sure that the system identified data correctly.

Sometimes you may find that system mistaken your document 'A' for a document 'B'. In this case, you need to delete current label and add an appropriate one.

Look at the screenshot below. The document was mislabelled as 'CV', yet a doctor wants it to be uploaded as 'Child Safeguarding Level 1'. Click on the cross on the chosen document type 'CV' to remove this label.

Then, start entering the name of the desired document 'Child Safeguarding Level 1' and choose it by clicking on the right option.

NOTE: Some Credentially users have one certificate that shows they have a few skills. In this way, one document can be evidence of multiple competencies. Read how to set it up here.

If the system misread the dates from your document, you can correct it manually. See the GIF attached on how to do it.

Save the changes and choose 'Send it now'.

NOTE: We recommend this article as well: 'Why do you need to review your documents?'

Please keep in mind that information can not be changed after your administrator approved a document.
