Do you have hundreds of documents, or employees, to import? Don't worry! Credentially mass upload function will save you time completing this task. Follow these steps to upload your documents quickly:

  1. You can only mass upload documents for employees, who already have an account on Credentially. If someone you want to download documents for doesn't have an account, invite them to Credentially or import their data from a spreadsheet

  2. Create a separate folder for every employee and name it with their full name (first name, then surname). For instance, if you want to upload documents for a Dr John Snow, you should name a folder containing his files 'John Snow'. The folder must not have any subfolders.

  3. If you need to upload documents for several employees, put all of their folders into one directory. Do not put employees' folders to a subfolder within it. Otherwise, Credentially will not find any documents there.

4. When you are all set, open mass uploader. To find it click 'Import/Export' on your dashboard and select 'Import Staff Members' documents'.

4. Click on an arrow in the centre of the page to select the folder.

5. Find the folder you need, click on it, and press 'Upload'.

6. Credentially will automatically identify the owners of the documents. When you upload multiple folders, the system will divide documents according to the folder names.

Please make sure to upload documents in the following formats:

1.pdf
2.jpg
3.jpeg
4.png
5.tiff
6.tif
7.docx

7. Once you have clicked 'Proceed', the system will start uploading and recognition of the documents. This process may take time. As it finished, click 'Complete onboarding'.

8. Once the documents have been uploaded, the next step is to review and approve the documents to make sure they have been identified correctly and that the expiry dates are correct.  Why do I need to review documents?
