How GDPR relates to CreditorWatch Collect and CreditorWatch Collect users

Updated over a year ago

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It is a regulation that intends to strengthen data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU). Learn more about how GDPR affects you on the GDPR website.

Here’s how GDPR relates to CreditorWatch Collect.

Data center location, security and compliance

CreditorWatch Collect stores your data securely within Amazon Web Services (AWS), located in Australia. We have a Data Processing Agreement with AWS that commits to the Model Contract Clauses, as set out in the GDPR. This means that via CreditorWatch Collect your data can be transferred to and stored in AWS regions which are outside of the EU, while still complying with GDPR. Read more about how we handle Privacy, Security, and Backups.

Access to your data and GDPR requests

As a CreditorWatch Collect account owner, you may request that we delete or provide a copy of your personal data by contacting us.

If you need to permanently delete customer data, you can make a ‘right to be forgotten’ request.
