Stage categories

In Crew, pipelines are composed of 5 stage categories that will remain the same:

  • New

  • Screening

  • Interview

  • Closing

  • Hired

We use those stage categories to be able to compare data between jobs and we advise you to use them carefully in order to be able to structure your analytics afterwards.

Rules about stages

In those categories, you can set up as many stages as you want, but some conditions must be respected:

  • You need at least one stage per stage category;

  • In stage category "New", you will always have 2 mandatory stages that you can rename and that will bring talents either who have applied to the job through your Career page or that you have sourced on LinkedIn thanks our chrome extension.

What you need to know when building pipeline templates

We've built analytics upon those pipelines. As a result, you should be aware of some calculation rules regarding pipeline, so that you can have true data.

  1. For outreach analytics, we take emails that are sent ONLY when the talents are in the stage category "New". The goal is to track the performance of outreaching, saying contacting talents and have positive results. It means "New" should only be used for applications and sourcing and nothing else.

  2. ๐Ÿ”ด Do NOT forget to reject candidates, even if they have never replied. This will give you more accurate data for your passthrough rates and for time spent in stages.

  3. ๐Ÿ”ด Do NOT forget to put the talents you hire in the stage category "Hired", so that you can know exactly what is your Offer acceptance rate and have accurate Time to fill and Time to hire numbers in the tab "General" in "Analytics".

How to delete stages?

You can click on the trash can next to the stage!

BUT, you cannot delete a stage in a pipeline template if the stage is the last of the stage category.

BUT, you cannot delete a stage in a job pipeline if the stage is the last of the stage category or if there are talents in it.
