New CRO Billing QuickBooks Integration

Upgrade to the New QuickBooks Integration

We've improved our QuickBooks Online integration, and the upgrade is worth it. Here's what's new, why it matters, and what to expect when you make the switch.

What's new

Two-way syncing

The new integration keeps CRO Billing and QuickBooks Online in sync in both directions. Changes flow the way they should, reducing manual reconciliation and the risk of data getting out of step between the two systems.

Full visibility into your sync status

A new dedicated QuickBooks tab gives you a clear view of everything that has been synced to QuickBooks, and flags anything that needs your attention. No more guessing whether a sync went through or digging to find out why something looks off.

Smarter duplicate prevention

The new integration tracks what's already in QuickBooks, so CRO Billing won't try to create records that are already there. Customers, products, and invoices stay clean on both sides.

What to expect when you upgrade

The upgrade is a guided, step-by-step process. Here's a brief overview of what happens:

  1. We prepare your data. Behind the scenes, we record the current state of what's already synced with your QuickBooks account. Nothing is sent to QuickBooks during this step, it's a safe internal update that sets the new integration up with an accurate starting point.

  2. You confirm and upgrade. Once the preparation is complete, you'll see a summary of what was found and have the chance to complete the upgrade with a single click.

  3. You're connected to the new integration. That's it. From there, you can navigate to the new QuickBooks tab anytime to monitor your sync status and address any issues.

Note: The preparation step may take a few minutes depending on the number of invoices, customers, and products in your account so you may want to set aside some time for this upgrade.
