QuickBooks integration is a feature we are very proud of. Whereas CRO Billing can handle the vast majority of your accounting needs, we know that many of our providers have been utilizing QuickBooks for a long period of time and wish to retain the usual order of operations.
Now, CRO Billing is fully capable of integrating directly with QuickBooks Online as well as QuickBooks Desktop so whichever flavor you prefer is perfectly acceptable!
What does it mean to integrate CRO with QuickBooks, however? Well, ultimately, when you first integrate your QuickBooks into your CRO, nothing will happen right away. Instead, the integration merely builds a "bridge" of sorts between your QuickBooks database and your CRO invoices.
Once that "bridge" is established, you have the ability to select final invoices directly from CRO and send them to your QuickBooks. You can even send them in bulk!
Now, depending on whether your QuickBooks is online or running on a desktop computer determines how you go about integrating with CRO.
To integrate with your QuickBooks Online account, you can simply click your Global Billing options (the gear icon at the top right) select "Use QuickBooks Integration" and then choose "QuickBooks Online". That will send you to your QuickBooks Online login page (if you're not already logged in) and you'll be asked to agree to the connection. After that, all you need to do is send the invoices over!
To integrate with your QuickBooks Desktop, the procedure is a little more involved. For that, you will need to make sure you have direct access to the computer running QuickBooks and have the Admin account login information. After that, we can schedule a 10-20 minute session for us to connect to your computer and run through the process. To set up this appointment, please call us at 1-844-276-2467 and we'll pencil it in. In either case, it's often a good idea to have your accountant on hand.
