How do I prioritize job requests?

How do I prioritize job requests?

Updated over 8 months ago

As our providers know and love, CRO allows you to set a multitude of details about each driver, truck, customer, asset, business location and much, much more. Almost every aspect of your business within CRO is adjustable and easily customized.

However, there is one type of customization that may just be the most important: Prioritization!

When you end up with a long list of job requests, it can be difficult to know which jobs are a higher priority than others. Whether you need to deliver a bin to a top-tier customer or you need emergency service on a portable toilet, setting a priority on a job can mean the difference between losing a customer and retaining them.

It is for this, precise reason that CRO offers Priority settings on Job Requests! When you're creating the request, you're given the option to set the priority. Keep in mind, the default priority is always, "Normal." and will not change anything about the request.

This request is set to a "Low" priority.

Once the job is assigned to a truck, it can be ordered any way you'd like or added to part of that truck's automated route.

Note: This is a Dispatching feature, and the driver will never be made aware of this priority setting. If you need to clarify the priority of the job, you will need to put it in a more or less advanced placement in that driver's order of job requests or add it to the job's notes.
