Getting your drivers up and running is a quick and simple process, but it does require a few steps to get everything in order.
First, in order to get the CRO Driver's App onto your driver's phone or tablet you'll need to download it. Fortunately, it's available for both Android and Apple devices.
If your driver is using an iPhone or an iPad, then you can simply search for "CRO for Drivers" on your device through the App Store. To be sure you're getting the proper app, you can refer to this link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cro-for-drivers/id965009978?mt=8
If, instead, you're using an Android device, then you'll want to go to your Google Play Store and search for "CRO Legacy Drivers". Once again, to ensure you're getting the proper app from CRO, you can follow this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.smscorp.crofordrivers&hl=en
Once installed your app is all set. Since CRO operates entirely in the Cloud, you'll never need to download any updates!
Now, on the dispatching side, you'll need to do a couple of things as well to fully get your driver up and running:
Create the Driver on the Drivers page. Please note that you may want to set some Driver Options, which are particular to each individual driver.
Once your driver is created, you'll need to add them as a "Valid Driver" on your trucks. To do this, go to Trucks and then open a truck that the driver should be assigned to. Go to Valid Drivers, click, "Add Driver" and add your new driver account. Make sure you save the truck!
When you have your driver account and they're valid for their truck(s), you can now assign them to the truck. From the Daily Truck List, you can click on the driver name (or where it says, "No Driver" if no driver is assigned) and then select your new driver!
As soon as your driver is logged in (and assign to a truck) they'll be able to see all jobs that have been assigned to them. They're ready to get to work!
