If your pledge (donation) has not already been paid out to the project, you can cancel it from the 'My Pledges' section of your Crowdfunder profile. Cancelling your pledge will also remove you from the project's supporters list.

All pledges have a 7-day clearing period so you should be able to cancel your pledge within this time.

To cancel your pledge, follow these steps:

1. Click on the dropdown arrow next to your profile icon and select 'My Pledges'. This will take you to the manage payments page.

2. Click the plus sign next to the pledge you wish to refund.

3. If the 'Cancel Pledge' button is visible, you can easily proceed with the refund. Click this button and follow the on-screen instructions. Your payment will be credited back to your original payment method within 5 working days.

4. If the 'Cancel Pledge' button is not visible, please reach out to us through our Support contact form, and we may be able to assist you with the refund: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/contact-us.

If the funds have already been sent to the project owner, you will need to contact them directly for a refund. Refer to this article for instructions on how to get in touch with the project owner.

📝 Please note: If you used Guest Checkout, you will need to sign up as a full member to manage your pledges. To do this, go to the "Forgotten Password" page and enter the email address you used to make your pledge.
