Can I put my project on my website?

How to Add a Donate Button to Your Website Using Widgets

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Once your project is live, you'll gain access to your project dashboard.

From there, you can add a Donate button to your website using the Widgets feature. Simply scroll down to the Widgets tab on your dashboard.

You’ll have two widget options to choose from:

Simple Button:

This is a straightforward "Donate on Crowdfunder" button that links directly to your project page.

Donate Amount Button:
This button allows supporters to choose a pledge amount—£20, £40, £60, or £100—and takes them directly to your checkout page. Supporters can still edit their donation amount once they're there.

You can customise the style of both buttons to match your website’s branding using the available settings.

Once you're happy with the design, simply copy the unique code provided and embed it into your website.

Please Note:
Widgets are only available once your project is live. If your project is still in draft mode, you won’t be able to use or preview the widget. To test it, you’ll need to launch your project first. If needed, you can take your project offline again afterwards by following these instructions.
