How Do Crowdpurr Social Walls Work?

Crowdpurr's Social Walls allow your crowd to post using X, Instagram, or on the web using Crowdpurr's web app for those who don't have X or Instagram accounts. Your crowd simply tags their post with your event's hashtag that you specify and the Social Wall takes care of the rest!

The Social Wall will query X and Instagram every few minutes to bring in any new tweets or posts that feature your event's hashtag. Alternatively, your crowd can simply go to crowd.live in their web browser and use the Crowdpurr web app to add messages and photos to the Social Wall.

Using a #hashtag or @username

To enable X and Instagram integration on your Social Wall, simply input a #hashtag or @username for your event. Then any tweets or posts from your crowd mentioning the #hashtag or @username you entered will be posted to your wall automatically.

Presenting the Social Wall At Your Event

Your Social Wall comes alive before your crowd's eyes using Crowdpurr's Presentation View. The Presentation View opens in a regular desktop web browser tab. It can then be shown in Full-Screen mode on an external projector or HDTV screen - similar to a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation.

With the Presentation View, your Social Wall will automatically update with the latest tweets and posts. The Social Wall will continuously circulate your posts and has several display layout options that will organize your posts into an ever-changing mosaic or show your posts one by one in a full-screen "spotlight" mode or both.
