Your Account Settings allow you to control your personal profile, notification preferences, storage information, nominees, and security. This section explains how to access and manage each part of your Crux account based on the options available in your dashboard.
What You Can Manage in Account Settings
1. Profile Information
Update your personal details such as your name or email (if allowed in your version).
Steps:
Go to Account Settings.
Click Edit Profile.
Update your information and save.
2. Notification Settings
Choose how and when you receive notifications for:
Videos
Images
Audio approvals
Other nominee-related actions
Steps:
Open Notification Settings.
Turn notifications on or off based on your preferences.
3. My Nominees
Manage the people who will access your information when needed.
You can:
View your nominees
Add new nominees
Remove nominees
Steps:
Click My Nominees.
View or manage existing nominees, or add new ones.
4. Storage
See how much storage you have used and what types of files occupy your space.
You can view:
Total available storage
Usage percentage
Breakdown by file types (Videos, Photos, Files)
Steps:
Go to Storage.
Review your usage and upgrade your plan if needed.
5. Change Password
Keep your profile secure by updating your password regularly.
Steps:
Open Change Password.
Enter your current password.
Set a new, secure password.
Save your changes.
Troubleshooting
I can’t update my profile: Some details may be locked for security reasons. Contact Support if needed.
I’m not receiving notifications: Check Notification Settings and verify your email is correct.
I forgot my password: Use the Forgot Password option on the login screen.
