Refunds and Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Refund eligibility depends on your billing cycle, local regulations, and Crux’s refund policy.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

  1. Go to Account Settings → Subscription

  2. Click Cancel Subscription

  3. Follow on-screen confirmation steps

Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated.

Refund Policy

Refund rules depend on your plan:

Monthly Plans

  • Typically non-refundable once the billing period has started.

Annual Plans

  • May qualify for a partial refund, depending on time remaining and usage.

Crux follows all applicable consumer protection laws.

After You Cancel

  • Your account switches back to the Start Plan.

  • If you exceed Start Plan limits (1 nominee or 500 MB storage), you may need to remove data or nominees.

  • Your vault remains intact; no files are automatically deleted.

Troubleshooting

  • Still charged after cancellation: You might have canceled after the renewal date.

  • Need a refund: Contact Support with your payment details.

  • Plan changed immediately: Some downgrades take effect right away; check confirmation.
