What is changing in DecipherAg?
Previously CSBP customers have used a different sign-in process for each CSBP system they access (myCSBP and DecipherAg). To improve the user experience and enhance security, we have implemented a single authentication process to access all CSBP systems. As a result, CSBP customers will now use the same email address and password to log into all systems they have access to.
Why is CSBP implementing this change?
To strengthen online security and keep your data safe, CSBP Fertilisers is upgrading its digital systems. This means we have increased the security for DecipherAg and upgraded the authentication process. The security for myCSBP was upgraded in March 2021 and now we are aligning the systems to increase security and provide you with a more convenient user experience.
What will this change mean for how I access CSBP systems?
myCSBP users will continue logging in to myCSBP with no change. DecipherAg users who also access myCSBP will now log in to DecipherAg using the same password they use for myCSBP. For DecipherAg users who do not use myCSBP, they will need to reset their password the first time they access the system after the change is implemented.
What is being upgraded?
We are improving the security for user access to DecipherAg, and integrating it with other systems accessed by CSBP customers. This means that for our customers who access more than one system, they may use the same sign-in details for whichever CSBP system they wish to use.
To further strengthen the security from the 15th of August 2023 Multi-Factor Authentication will be enabled. When you sign in, in addition to your password, you will receive a code to your mobile phone or home landline. YOu will need to enter the code to authenticate yourself before being given access to the system.
What triggered this change? Was there a data breach?
Thankfully CSBP has not experienced any data breaches. In the current environment where so many organisations are being targeted for data breach attacks, we are being proactive to improve our security in order to reduce the risk of such attacks.
If you need to reset your password, head to the DecipherAg sign in page and click the ‘Reset password’ link.
On the next screen you may enter your email address to be sent a code allowing you to reset your password.
You will receive an email with a code.
The next screen that is displayed allows you to enter the code that you have received by email. Then click the “Confirm security code” button (red arrow)
If you have not received an email with the code, check if it has ended up in your junk email folder.
If you have still not received a code, you may use the option to resend a code (green arrow). You may also need to check that you have entered the correct email address for the code to be sent to, as it must match the email you use to access DecipherAg.
Once the valid reset code is entered you will see a form that allows you to enter a new password.
You will need to enter the password twice to confirm it has been entered correctly. Passwords must be at least 8 characters, and must have at least 3 of the following: lowercase, uppercase, digits and symbols.
Once your password is reset you will be logged directly into the system.
Can I switch from one system to another once I am logged in?
Yes, in each system you will have a button available at the top of the screen that will open the other system without needing to log in again.
What will happen if I am offline and have not updated to the new app?
Once the new DecipherAG Mobile App is available and you have an internet connection, when you try to access the App, it will update before you can continue to use it. Once it is updated you will need to log into the system, which if you haven’t previously, will require a new password to be set. Any data you had entered into the old App while offline will automatically sync when the app is updated, so you won’t lose data.
I don't have access to my old email, how can I change it?
Please contact the Agtech Services Team and they will be able to create your account with the new email address and transfer the settings across.
My email address is changing, what’s the process to update it?
Once you are signed in to the system using your current email address, open the Profile page in DecipherAg.
Within the profile page you will see the settings for your profile (name, email etc) with links for the settings you may edit. Depending on what services are linked to your DecipherAg account, you may be able to simply edit the email address in your profile settings, in which case you will see Edit next to the email address.
However, if you have linked services as part of your DecipherAg profile, you will need to have assistance from the Agtech Services Team to update your email address and transfer all your settings to the new email. Where this is the case, instead of Edit you will see Email Us beside the email address in your profile page. Clicking that link will open up a screen that will allow you to enter the email you wish to change to. Once your new email is set up you will be notified on that email address that you can now sign in to your account using that email address.
I started resetting my password but I didn't receive a verification code, what do I do?
If you have not received an email with the code, check that it has ended up in your junk email folder. If you have still not received a code, you may use the option to resend a code. You may also need to check that you have entered the correct email address for the code to be sent to, as it must match the email you use to access DecipherAg.
