**Visual Content:** Static images (logos, sponsor marks, graphics), animated GIFs, MP4 video files, team colors, and branded graphics. Many teams create vertical versions of their intro videos or hype videos specifically for the Light Show phone experience.
**Branded Elements:** Team logos, sponsor branding, co-branded graphics featuring competing teams, country flags for international events, and custom promotional messages. Since fans hold their phones just inches from their faces during the show, this screen real estate provides an intimate, high-impact branding opportunity.
**Interactive Content:** Lyrics for sing-along karaoke moments, congratulatory messages, or any other custom text.
**Dynamic Effects:** Colors that match your flashlight programming (using the 'Match Flashes' option), so your screen colors automatically cycle through your brand colors as the flashes activate. You can also program the screen to display different content at different moments throughout the song, alternating between logos, sponsor content, animations, and graphics.
**Audio & Haptics:** Audio that plays through phone speakers (such as radio calls, sound effects, chants, or crowd noise) and haptic vibration that triggers at specific moments during the show.
**File Size Recommendations:** CUE recommends keeping on-screen content to 20 megabytes or smaller to ensure smooth loading across all phones, especially in venues with varying connectivity. Larger files may cause loading delays. For video content, heavy compression is necessary — test videos at varying connection speeds before your event to ensure reliable loading.
**Technical Notes:** The on-screen content layers on top of background colors (which sync to flashlight patterns). Transparent PNGs work well for overlaying brand elements on color backgrounds. Video files must be in MP4 format and heavily compressed for mobile delivery. All content is fully customizable and can be changed from show to show through CUE's timeline editor, where you can drag and drop elements onto the timeline to appear at specific moments during the song.
