Should we use the Light Show for multiple artists at the same event, or reserve it for just the headliner?

This is an important strategic decision that depends on your event goals. Many event organizers choose to reserve the Light Show exclusively for headlining acts to maximize impact — if the effect is used multiple times throughout an evening, there can be diminishing returns as the spectacle becomes familiar to the audience. For multi-artist concert nights, CUE typically recommends prioritizing the headliner so the Light Show feels like a special, peak moment rather than a repeated element. However, if your headliners perform on different days, you can absolutely feature a Light Show for each night's main act. The key consideration is preserving the 'wow factor' — if an opening act uses the Light Show, it may reduce the impact when the headliner performs later that same evening.
