How do I configure the timing for a mobile Noise Meter competition‚ countdown duration and event length?

CUE's mobile Noise Meter gives you full control over competition timing with two customizable settings. The countdown duration determines how long fans have to get ready after you hit start. During this time, a countdown appears on screen (5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO!) with customizable dialogue prompts like 'Are you ready?' and 'Get ready!' giving fans time to scan in and prepare. Set the countdown longer if you need more time to get people engaged, or shorter for a faster-paced activation. The event duration determines how long the actual competition runs‚ how long fans need to sustain their yelling or noise. A 5-second event is a quick sprint that creates explosive energy, while 15 seconds is more of an endurance challenge. Most teams find something in the 10-15 second range works well, but you can adjust based on your crowd and moment. You can also set the event length to be very long if you want to run multiple Noise Meter moments throughout an event without showing the QR code each time‚ this keeps fans connected and ready, so when you return to the Noise Meter later in the event, participants are already loaded and you can jump straight into the competition.
