In CUE's design system, colors serve as the bottom layer while uploaded graphics layer on top. If you upload a background image or video, it will take priority over and cover any color you've selected. This means you can set brand colors as a fallback or baseline, but they'll only be visible in areas not covered by uploaded graphics. This layered approach gives you flexibility — you can keep things simple with just colors, or create more complex designs with custom graphics while knowing the colors will fill any gaps. Any standard hex code works for color selection in CUE's platform.
