PostUP includes a robust moderation system that ensures no content appears on your display until it has been explicitly approved. When fans submit photos or videos, they appear in a moderation queue where you can review each submission and take action.
PostUP offers five moderation actions:
Approve (adds the photo to your display playlist),
Favorite (creates a group for special selections, useful for prize drawings),
Feature (displays the photo full-screen, often used for 'fan of the game' moments),
Flag (categorizes photos for later review)
Reject (removes the photo from consideration).
The playlist of approved photos can be reordered by dragging and dropping, allowing you to control the sequence. If you accidentally reject a photo, you can easily unreject it and move it back to your approved playlist.
The system also includes a refresh button to pull in newly submitted content and batch actions for efficient management of large volumes of submissions.
PostUP offers both desktop and mobile moderation options. You can log into the full-featured dashboard from a computer, or access mobile moderation directly from your phone by navigating to the three-dot menu, selecting 'Moderate,' and scanning the QR code or following the link provided.
After logging in with your CUE account credentials, you'll have access to a simplified mobile moderation panel. The mobile interface is designed for quick interactions. You can simply swipe, tap a checkmark to approve, or tap an X to reject making it perfect for event staff running around during live events.
Mobile moderation includes the same filtering options as desktop, allowing you to quickly sort through pending, approved, or rejected submissions. This distributed moderation approach means anyone with moderation access whether it's you, staff members, interns, or trusted student workers, can process submissions in real-time from anywhere in the venue. This keeps your video board content fresh and maintains high fan engagement even during high-volume submission periods.
