Does PostUP require a verbal introduction from a host, or can it be displayed without explanation?

While having a host or MC verbally introduce PostUP can boost engagement, it's not strictly required. The beauty of PostUP is that the mainboard output can include clear messaging like 'Scan here to see your photo on the big screen' that makes the call-to-action self-explanatory. However, combining visual display with verbal promotion from a host typically drives higher participation. For events where you can't guarantee host support, focus on making your mainboard graphics as clear and instructive as possible. PostUP is designed to fill dead time and work passively — you can have it running during pre-show periods, intermissions, or any downtime where the screen would otherwise be idle, and fans will organically engage without needing explicit instructions.
