PostUP offers extensive flexibility in mainboard display layouts and configurations to match your venue setup, production needs, and aesthetic preferences. Layout options include single (one large photo), double (two photos side by side), quad (four photos in a grid), dynamic layouts showing multiple photos with varying sizes, and various other arrangements. You can also configure layouts with dedicated spaces for hosts or on-camera talent, displaying fan content in L-bar, lower third, or sidebar formats — ideal for hosted FanFest stages, pre-game shows, or activations combining live talent with fan-generated content.
You can enable or disable background blur effects behind photos, with additional layout options becoming available when blur is disabled. The system supports margin adjustments to accommodate non-standard display dimensions (such as circular video boards) or to leave space for permanent screen elements. Margins can be adjusted uniformly or independently (left, right, top, bottom) by unlocking the link between them. You can also choose different tile animation styles for photo transitions, including random flip, flip X, flip Y, or fade effects.
Beyond single mainboards, you can create multiple mainboard configurations within a single PostUP instance, each with its own unique display settings, layouts, colors, graphics, and dimensions. Each mainboard has its own unique URL that you feed to the appropriate display system. The key benefit is that all mainboards pull from the same moderation queue — you moderate content once but display it simultaneously across multiple formats and locations. This allows you to create different looks for different screens, events, or themed nights (throwback night, playoffs, etc.) and simply switch which mainboard URL you display on any given night.
