Can we use our existing pre-rendered shuffle or race videos with CUE's Tap-It platform to make them interactive?

Yes, absolutely. CUE's Tap-It platform is specifically designed to add mobile interactivity to any pre-rendered shuffle, race, or similar video content you already have — whether it's a helmet shuffle, hat shuffle, mascot race, or content from another vendor. You can upload your existing video files (typically multiple versions with different predetermined winners) directly into the platform without creating new content from scratch.

Here's how it works: The experience consists of three parts. First, a CUE-powered intro screen where fans scan a QR code and make their selection (picking which item/contestant they think will win). Second, your existing shuffle or race video plays as the middle segment on the video board. Third, a CUE-powered results screen delivers prizes to fans who guessed correctly.

To set this up, select 'Custom Video' in the design settings and configure the timing to match your video: set the title duration, gameplay duration (matching your video length), selection screen duration, reveal duration, and thank you screen. You'll also specify how many objects are being shuffled and which one is the predetermined winner.

For live execution, run your existing shuffle video from your standard video playback system while running CUE separately. When ready, hit 'Start' on the CUE platform at the same moment you trigger your video playback (a simple 3-2-1 countdown helps synchronize). The mobile experience will guide fans to watch the video board during the shuffle, then prompt them to make their selection at the appropriate moment.

This approach preserves your existing content investments, adds an engaging interactive layer with fan voting and data collection, and allows you to deliver different prizes based on correct vs. incorrect predictions. Alternatively, if you want a fully custom interactive experience where fan tapping actually influences the outcome in real-time, CUE can build custom races and shuffles as video games using our Unreal engine.
