What's the difference between using rounds versus separate instances in Trivia Mania?

Trivia Mania offers two ways to organize your trivia content: rounds within a single instance or completely separate instances. Each approach has distinct advantages depending on your needs.

Using rounds within a single instance keeps the same QR code throughout your event. Fans scan once, and you advance them through different rounds of questions during play. Rounds are ideal when you want continuous engagement without requiring fans to re-scan, and they're perfect for ongoing trivia programs across multiple events (like a homestand). Simply create rounds named by date or theme (e.g., 'Thursday,' 'Friday'), and whichever round is highlighted when you hit Start is the one fans will play.

Creating separate instances gives each trivia game its own unique QR code and allows completely different branding, sponsorship, and visual design for each version. This approach is perfect for themed nights or sponsor-specific activations that need a distinct look and feel, and it provides separate analytics for different events. A practical approach is to build out your design once, then clone the instance to create new versions where you only need to swap out the questions while keeping all your branding and styling intact.
