What are Mailboxes?
Mailboxes allow you to send (important) information right to your 'News Desk' in Storiez. Whether you are away from the office and want to get story information to your colleagues, or if you want to set up a tip line for example, Mailboxes give you an easy way to do so.
You can set up multiple Mailboxes to keep your sources and news information better organized. Each Mailbox can have its own unique email address.
How can I create a Mailbox
To create a Mailbox, click the 'Settings' gear icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
Next, click on the 'Mailbox' settings in the menu on the left.
Now, click the 'Add mailbox' button (found in the top-right).
Fill in these fields: Mailbox title, description, and your unique email address (which will end with
@inbound.storiez.news).
How to Access Your Mailbox(es)
From your main News Desk screen, click on the orange ‘Mailbox’ tab on the right side of your screen to open the Mailbox panel.
If you have more than one Mailbox configured, you can switch between them by using the drop-down menu in the top-left of the Mailbox panel.
Move your mouse over a Mailbox message and click the ‘Preview’ button to see the full content.
Creating a Story from Your Mailbox
From your main News Desk screen, click on the orange ‘Mailbox’ tab on the right side of your screen.
From the Mailbox panel, simply drag the email/content you want to use to any of your ‘Story Segments’ sections or to the ‘Calendar View’ to create a story from it.
