Main News Desk view

The Storiez News Desk is your starting point in Storiez. The News Desk is your main view where you can find and create all stories, manage them as needed, schedule them on a certain day and time, and more.

You can change the layout of the News Desk to fit your needs. Choose from a 1 day view, 4 days, week, month or all ('Elvis'). Most views have extra options to further customize how you prefer content to be shown, as well as options to filter the content.

More information on how to customize the layout can be found in How do I change the Storiez News Desk layout to my needs?

Story priorities

Depending on the layout you select, the Storiez News Desk provides different 'Priorities' to add your stories to:

  • Breaking

  • Actual

  • Events

  • Pitch

  • Archived

  • Dropped

These priorities translate to collapsable segments in the News Desk layout, allowing you to create stories directly under a certain priority, as well as to drag&drop stories from one priority to another, and between different days.

For more information on story priorities, see What are story priorities?

Add Publishing Points

By creating Publishing Points, such as Cuez Rundown, Webhooks, Websites, Instagram,... you can expand your News Desk with extra columns, which allow you to easily add or create (sub)stories for a specific Publishing Point.

With multiple columns added to your view, you can scroll horizontally across the page.

More information about Publishing Points can be found in What are Publishing Points?

And more

From the News Desk, you can also access Lists, the Story Tray, the Mailbox and News Feeds.
