Learn how to filter your Episode so only certain Block configurations are shown

Updated over 10 months ago

An Episode in Cuez will, by default, show all the different Block configurations that are configured in your Project. Depending on your function within the team (technical, editorial,...) or your personal preference, you can filter out certain Block configurations to make the Script or Rundown more compact and focus on the content you need.

How to filter Block configurations from an Episode

Block configurations can be filtered independently on both the Script and the Rundown layout. Each of these layouts has an eye-icon at the top which, upon clicking the icon, opens a menu where you can hide or show the available Block configurations. If your project contains a long list of Block configurations, you can use the search function at the top to find the one you are looking for.

In the Rundown layout you will see the Cue Blocks to apply the filter.

In the Script layout you will see both the Text Blocks, as well as the Cue Blocks to apply the filter.

Simply uncheck the boxes of the Block configurations you do not want to see in your Script or Rundown. You can also 'Deselect all' to filter out all Block configurations, to then more easily enable just a few of them.

Filtering Block configurations only affects what you see on your screen, it has no effect on what your colleagues see on theirs.
