The full list of Automator releases can be consulted on the Automator download page, with the newest version at the top. Each version can be unfolded to see the changes it includes.
Automator updates can include new features, new supported devices, improvements and bug fixes.
Stable builds versus Next builds
On the Automator download page, you can find two main types of releases:
'Stable builds' and 'Next builds'.
Stable builds
Stable builds of the Automator represent versions that have been tested and are deemed ready for use in production environments.
The Stable builds can include a longer list of changes, which includes new functionality, support for new devices, as well as bug fixes and improvements that were previously added in 'Next builds'.
Next builds
Next builds of the Automator represent versions that are still in testing, meaning they might not yet be ready for use in production environments - these can be considered beta versions.
The Next builds usually include new upcoming functionality, support for new devices, as well as bug fixes and improvements.
Should you come across any issues while using a Next build of the Automator, you can let us know via the chat in the bottom right corner of the Automator.
Once a series of Next builds are deemed stable and ready for use in production environments, they then get released as a Stable build.
