Why create a new Project from an existing one
If you have an existing Project in Cuez that you would want to use as the base to create a new Project, you have the option to do so.
A Project in Cuez can include custom Text and Cue Blocks, Episode templates, Public Views, and/or have an Automator configuration. All of these configurations can be copied to the new Project. This allows you to get started quickly without having to recreate your existing setup from scratch.
How to create a new Project from an existing one
As explained in How can I create a new Project?, Projects can be created in different ways. During the creation process, you will be asked to select a 'Project template', which determines the base structure for your new Project.
Cuez offers standard templates as a starting point, such as:
Standard Episode
Live Event
Talk Show
Esports
Sports
News Show
In addition to these standard templates, you can select one of your own existing Projects as the starting point.
To do so, choose the corresponding option in the Project template window and confirm your selection.
Complete the remaining steps as required, then click the blue 'Create Project' button to confirm.
With the new Project now created, you can now make use of the same custom Text and Cue Blocks, Episode templates, Public Views, and Automator configuration as you had in the existing Project you used as the base for the new one.
