Curate Classic Themes

In the updated Curate system we turned Curate Classic themes into cover sections! For example the Sprout theme in Classic is now a cover that can be added to the top of the event proposal in the updated Curate system! To see a list of all of the covers, check out the following steps!

  • Load an event and navigate to the workroom

  • Locate the Table of Contents on the right side and click the + Add content link as seen below:

  • A slide out menu will appear with various options to select! All of the covers will mention Cover - at the beginning of the sections name such as Cover - Sprout or Cover - Brilliance.

  • To add one of the covers to your event proposal, click on the Add to proposal link under the cover of interest.

  • This will automatically add the cover to the bottom of the page. If you would like to move the new cover, use your left click on the mouse to click down on the . beside the cover's name and drag it to where you want the cover to be displayed.

Fonts & Background Colors

  • To select a different font for your header and body text as well as a background color, locate the Styles button within the Workroom of the event.

  • This will activate a slide out menu that will allow you to make these changes. In Curate Classic, these were formally located on the Admin page of an event. Any changes you do on the Style slide out will take effect immediately.

Portal Messaging

  • We have a feature that is new to Curate called Portal Messaging! To use this feature, first locate and click the Portal Messages icon from the Workroom as seen below:

  • This will activate a slide out menu. Next you will need to enable the feature. To do this, click on the Settings tab and click toggle into the on position. This allows you to leave a message for your client which can be see seen in the portal.

  • Next you may navigate back to the Messages tab and write out a message to your client! Your client will be be notified via email and will able to view the message in their client portal.

  • This is how the message will appear in the Client Preview:
