We’re excited to share that Curated Social has officially transitioned from Canva to the In-app Editor as our design editor for creating and customizing social media graphics.

This update allows us to provide a more seamless, integrated, and customizable experience directly within the platform.

Why the Change?

Previously, Curated Social designs were powered by Canva. While Canva is a robust external tool, moving to the In-app Editor allows us to:

  • Provide a fully embedded design experience within Curated Social

  • Improve platform performance and stability

  • Enable better customization control

  • Streamline template management and updates

  • Reduce third-party dependency

This means you no longer need to connect or manage a Canva account to edit your Curated Social templates.

What is the In-app Editor?

The In-App Editor is a powerful online design editor that allows you to:

  • Customize text, fonts, and colors

  • Upload and use your own images

  • Adjust layouts and elements

  • Edit branded templates

  • Download completed graphics

All of this happens directly inside the Curated Social platform — no external redirects required.

What’s Different From Canva?

Here’s what you can expect with the transition:

*No Canva Login Required

Design editing now happens directly within Curated Social.

*Fully Integrated Workflow

Create, edit, and schedule posts without leaving the platform.

*Updated Template Library

Templates are optimized specifically for the In-app Editor to ensure smooth editing and formatting.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Older Canva-based templates are no longer editable in Canva through Curated Social.

  • Any new or updated templates are built for the In-app Editor.

  • Some Canva-specific features (such as Canva brand kits or Canva Pro elements) are not part of this integration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a separate In-app Editor account?

No. the In-app Editor is fully integrated into Curated Social.

Can I still use Canva for my designs?

You’re welcome to create designs independently in Canva and upload them as images, but the In-app Editor now powers Curated Social templates.

Will this affect my previously scheduled posts?

No. Scheduled posts will continue to publish as planned.
