The Hollyland Lark M2 is a small clip-on wireless microphone. Bola recommends the USB-C version (see Recommended Microphones). Your computer needs a USB-C port for the receiver.
Set up the microphone
Remove any protective film from the transmitter (TX, the clip-on microphone) and the receiver (RX).
Place the TX and RX in the charging case and let them charge fully before first use.
Take the TX and RX out of the case. They turn on and connect to each other automatically. A solid blue light means they are paired and ready.
Plug the receiver into a USB-C port on the computer you chart from.
In Windows, go to Start > Settings > System > Sound. Under Input, choose Lark M2. Speak and check that the input meter moves.
Power and lights
Taking the TX and RX out of the charging case turns them on, and putting them back turns them off. To turn one on or off by hand, press and hold the yellow button on the TX, or the upper power button on the RX, for 3 seconds.
Flashing blue: on, but not paired yet
Solid blue: paired and ready
Solid green: noise cancellation is on
Flashing red: low battery
Solid amber: charging
Solid green while charging: fully charged
Pair the microphone manually
If the TX and RX do not connect on their own:
Turn the TX off, then press and hold its yellow button for 6 seconds until the blue light flashes rapidly.
With the RX turned on, press and hold its pairing button for 3 seconds until the blue light flashes rapidly.
Wait for both lights to turn solid blue.
If Bola does not hear you
Make sure the TX and RX are charged and both show a solid blue light.
In Windows Sound settings, check that Lark M2 is the selected input device and that the input volume is at least 60%.
Unplug the receiver and plug it into a different USB-C port.
If the lights keep flashing, pair the microphone manually using the steps above. If that does not work, press and hold the pairing button on both the TX and RX for about 10 seconds to reset them, then pair again.
