Written by Libby

Use Edit Studio to resize and extend your images seamlessly across formats without cropping. Our AI expands the canvas to fit new dimensions, so your content adapts to every placement while keeping the original intact.

Steps to Extend Your Image

  1. Go to Albums
Open your Albums and select the image you’d like to extend.

  2. Open in Edit Studio
Click Edit to launch the image inside Edit Studio.

  3. Change Size
Select Change size from the available actions.

  4. Choose a Ratio or Custom Dimensions
Pick from suggested formats such as:

    • Square → Instagram Post (1080×1080)

    • Portrait → Instagram Portrait (1080×1350)

    • Story/Reel → Instagram Story (1080×1920)

    • Landscape → Facebook Cover (1920×1080)

    • Link Preview → Facebook Link (600×315)

    • Custom Dimensions → Enter your own width and height

  5. Frame Your Image
Place your image within the new frame so key content stays visible.

💡 For 9:16 Story ratios, most important text usually sits in the top third of the frame. We recommend pulling the image downward and extending the top to create clear space.

  6. Generate Expanded Canvas
AI will intelligently fill the new areas around your image.

  7. Save as New Image & Exit
Save your extended version as a new image in Albums for future use in ads.
