Food that are in this category generally taste very good. Why? Because they are rich in oils, fats, creams and all of these tend to enhance the taste of the food.  No wonder these foods taste so good!  Many times, these fats are there for that very reason.

We are not saying that these oils/fats etc are necessarily bad for you.  But you need to remember that you have a goal here - better health and weight control!  And in order to achieve that you need to identify which foods helps you achieve that goal and which foods do not help.

It is good to include a moderate amount of healthy fats in the diet but not in excessive quantities. Excessive oily/fried/creamy food do not help with health and weight control as they tend to be very calorie dense.

So watch out for these types of foods and if you had any, you will need to answer 'No' to this question for the day 😐!

Check out our article on 'How much oil/ fat can I have in a day?' to learn more about which fats/oils to pick and how much you can include during the D9 programme.
