How to access the Gearbelt Operator Web App

The Gearbelt Operator Web App makes it easy for you to record inspections, log and view faults, access asset documents, and check any forms that have already been submitted - like Work Orders, inspections, or repair forms.

It is extremely easy to access - no app download is required, simply scan an asset QR code or click the link shared by your admin.

To access the Gearbelt Operator Web App via QR code scanning, follow these steps:

1. Open your device camera and scan the asset Gearbelt QR code

2. Select 'Continue to Gearbelt'

3. From there, you'll be able to navigate different sections:

  • Activity, which will show all the activity related to this asset (inspections completed, faults recorded, faults resolved, etc)

  • Inspections, where you'll be able to access all the asset-specific form templates, view and submit forms

  • Faults, where you can view recorded faults for the asset, organised by status (New, Pending, Closed)

  • Overview, where you'll find all the asset information such as location, latest hours/mileage, ID, make, model, registration number, and more - including related documents such as operator manuals

To access the Gearbelt Operator Web App via SMS invite, follow these steps:

1. Click the link in the SMS invitation received. It should look like this:

2. Click the link and select the relevant asset

3. From there, you'll be redirected to the asset activity - see from step 3 of QR code section
