How it works

Key Features

  • Standardise your utility locating records across your team

  • Access and fill out records on site using the Dashpivot mobile app (also available for tablets), including when you are offline and don't have a wifi or cellular connection

  • Attach photos on the spot while filling out the form in the app

  • Markup and annotate drawings in the field using the app

  • Automatically generate a register of all your potholes

  • Quickly filter and find pothole records

Best Practices

  • Include a photo field so that additional detail can be added eg. hole photos, measurements

  • Include a sketch field so that a detail of the utilities can be added when filling out the form eg. depth, distance, relative position

  • Use list fields where applicable (eg. area), to make it easy to find records later via the register view, and filter by the list items on any analytics charts

  • In the template settings, make sure the forms are sorted by the date on the form (not the creation date)

  • In the template settings, set the form thumbnail to display the pothole / utility number, so that each record is easy to find

  • Toggle the form counter on, so that each record has an auto-generated number applied to it
