Introduction

Daily reports are an essential project record; if not well documented, they can lead to disputes and inaccurate contractor payments.

Dashpivot's daily report app and software improve site productivity and build bulletproof work records through digital daily reports. These quick, easy, and powerful daily reports allow you to efficiently capture and record job site activity details.

All your daily report entries are automatically sent to a secure cloud, organised chronologically, and instantly converted into a register as needed. The photos and videos captured with the Dashpivot app are stored, accessible, and easily searchable, providing you with reliable project records.

Dashpivot streamlines your daily reporting processes, improving collaboration and keeping projects on track.

Daily reports in Dashpivot

Key features:

  • Easily record daily conditions, production quantities, costs of internal labor, contractors, and plant and equipment. Document any problems or delays directly on your phone or tablet.

  • Organise your report records in chronological order, with quick search and filtering

  • Clone yesterdays report, and modify whats changed today

  • Capture and tag site photos/videos that are available immediately for your team to use without the need to sync up or transfer photos later on.

  • Automatically convert all your daily reports to a register, to view information from multiple reports at once

  • Automatically graph data captured in your reports (eg. labour hrs, plant hrs, subcontractor hrs, productivity), and filter by subcontractor, cost code, work area, work activity and other parameters you setup.

  • Download, print or send your reports as PDFs, with professional layout and company branding

Best Practices

  • Include a photos field in the template. With Dashpivot all photos taken with the app record who took it, where it was taken, date and time stamp, descriptions and comments.

  • Use list dropdowns in your table fields by selecting the "list" option in the template builder. Dropdowns standardise the way you capture information, eliminate spelling mistakes, limit the options and are faster to fillout. Any quantity charts created in the analytics section will allow you to then breakdown or filter by the list items selected in those dropdowns and see for example, how many hours did Sarah work? or how many m3 of concrete was poured?

  • Use advanced formulas to automate calculations and create a summary referencing multiple tables

  • In the template settings, make sure to display relevant information (eg. work area, or date) so that records can be identified quickly

  • In the template settings, make sure the forms are sorted by the date on the form (and not by the creation date)
